Production Floor Worker (Dauphin, MB) 

The position offers 40 hours per week with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday. In-house training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job Summary:

The Production Floor Worker is responsible for completing manufacturing operations required in the production of fabricated metal components and assemblies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manufacturing tasks including: operating hand/power tools, operating manual/automated production equipment, cleaning and packaging
• Receive training and placement in various production departments
• Work with consistent speed and accuracy in a production environment
• Interpret part drawings and work order documents
• Record time spent and quantity produced in shop floor tracking software
• Measure and inspect parts produced per prescribed inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (example: welding, machining, forklift operation, etc.) is considered an asset

Work Schedule:

• 10 hours/day, Monday to Thursday

Finance Technician (Dauphin, MB)

We are currently seeking a full time Finance Technician to join our team in Dauphin, MB. The position offers 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday. Job Summary:

The Finance Technician works under the direction of the Director of Finance with the following responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

• Enter payment receipts from customers and prepare deposits
• Prepare reports for the Director of Finance Monitor customer accounts for payments and credit notes
• Reconcile and produce monthly statements to send out to customers
• Respond to customer inquiries concerning their account

Accounts Payable

• Receive, verify and process payables in the ERP system
• Match invoices with POs and receiving documents
• Reconcile vendor monthly statements
• Set up approved vendors
• Process payment for payables as directed by Director of Finance
• Prepare and maintain reports and documents
• Correspond with vendors as needed and negotiate payment terms
• Track and file invoices needed for year-end file

General

• Maintain postal machine
• Manage all applicable email accounts
• Perform other accounting activities when necessary
• Answer phones and re-direct calls when needed
• Pick up mail daily

Qualifications and Skills

• Business Administration diploma with a strong knowledge of accounting activities or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Proficient with MS Office software
