Production Floor Worker (Dauphin, MB) 

The position offers 40 hours per week with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday. In-house training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job Summary:

The Production Floor Worker is responsible for completing manufacturing operations required in the production of fabricated metal components and assemblies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manufacturing tasks including: operating hand/power tools, operating manual/automated production equipment, cleaning and packaging
• Receive training and placement in various production departments
• Work with consistent speed and accuracy in a production environment
• Interpret part drawings and work order documents
• Record time spent and quantity produced in shop floor tracking software
• Measure and inspect parts produced per prescribed inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (example: welding, machining, forklift operation, etc.) is considered an asset

Work Schedule:

• 10 hours/day, Monday to Thursday

Welder (Dauphin, MB) 

We are currently seeking a welder to join our production team in Dauphin. This position offers 40 hours per week with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.

Job Summary:

The Welder works as part of the welding department to perform the operations required in the production of fabricated metal components and assemblies. They will use various welding processes, jigs, and fixtures to complete the operations.

Responsibilities Include: 

• TIG, MIG, robotic MIG, spot welding and silver soldering
• Achieve/maintain CWB certification for specific weld joints
• Work with consistent speed and accuracy in a production environment
• Interpret part drawings and work order documents
• Record time spent and quantity produced in shop floor tracking software
• Measure and inspect parts produced per prescribed inspections
• Crosstrain in other departments to suit varying production demands
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Adhere to legislated and company specific safe work procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous welding experience (preferably proficient with TIG welding of light gauge metals)
• Certification/education in welding is considered an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset

Work Schedule:

10 hours/day, Monday to Thursday

We are currently seeking a full time Machinist to join our team in Dauphin, MB. The position offers 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities Include: 

• Interpret part prints, work orders, and work instruction documents
• Create CNC programs using G code and conversational programming
• Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently in machining of multipiece production runs
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment in machining individual workpieces for tooling maintenance and equipment repairs
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Work with Engineering department to plan machining of complex tooling and repair parts
• Work with Purchasing department to select and maintain inventory of machining consumables
• Work with consistent speed and accuracy in a production environment
• Record time spent and quantity produced in shop floor tracking software
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Participate in daily Production Meetings

Qualifications and Skills:

• Willing to learn to operate CNC lathes and vertical machining centers
• Strong communication skills
• Well organized with strong time management skills
• Education and certification in machining would be an asset
• Experience with Mazak CNC control and MAZATROL would be an asset
• Experience creating CNC programs using CAM software would be an asset
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset

JD040– Finance and HR Assistant

Reports to:

Responsibilities:

Finance

• Post payables in the ERP system for both RITZ locations
• Ensure invoices are accurate (pricing, taxes etc.)
• Match invoices with POs and receiving documents
• Set up approved vendors
• Maintain accurate and organized reports of invoices, payments and vendor information (ie: addresses, terms etc.)
• Correspond with vendors as needed
• Maintain postal machine

HR

• Take lead on employee events – planning, budget, shopping etc.
• Organize Cause for Applause nominees
• Assist employees and managers with ADP log in or time punch issues
• Review time banks and create reports
• Maintain emergency evacuation employee list
• Maintain employee memo boards and communication outlets
• Onboard employees to benefits and RSP program
• Attend job fairs and present opportunities at RITZ
• Write job adds and advertise openings
• Sort through applicants and push to appropriate managers
• Assist in new hire relocation and onboarding
• Create funding remittances

General

• Cross train with other departments when needed
• Ensure your actions align with the RITZ Core Values
• Follow all policies and procedures set out in the Employee Manual
• Work with consistent speed and accuracy
• Answer phones and re-direct calls when needed
• Administer visitor access protocol

Safety and Cleanliness

• Follow all work and safe work procedures
• Ensure all PPE is being worn for tasks being completed
